Every since she can remember Melisa Pacheco has had a pencil or crayons in her hand. She was born and raised in Orange County CA but currently resides and works out of her studio in Las Vegas NV. She works in all mediums but it wasn't until a few years ago that she started using acrylic paints and mastered the medium.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I own a wine and paint buisness so I am very comfortable working with all range of students. I was a kindergarten teach for 6 years aswell. I would like to see what your range is and where you want to go with it. I can help in all ranges. From drawing to painting with the kerlich to painting with oil.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a teacher for 7 years. I own a wine and paitn buisness for 2 years where I'm the instructor for each class. I also own 2 art galleries.

What types of students have you worked with?
All range from 5 and up. Kids birthday parties to seniors needing art therapy.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I work with large groups or one student at a time I enjoy teaching and truly take my time to teach.. My love for the arts is beyond a passion it's my calling.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Take your time while picking a teacher a teacher has to be passionate, patient and they have to have a love for education and the love for their craft.

What they want to learn can this teacher help you how do you go about helping a student like myself.
