DWLEELAND Art
About
I tend to break away from traditional forms of teaching. I will show the accepted way to do things in the medium and then break the rules. I have been doing this since I was 12yrs old. Some 38 yrs ago. With a small hiatus somewhere in the middle. I now make fine art lithographs for S2 arts and Rue Royale Fine Art. While also printing for the Matilda group. I was mentored by Jean Pierre Rèmond in Paris France. JP Rèmond worked with Picasso as a child and Salvador Dali in the 60's as color seperator for lithography. I have done the same type of work for artist like Waldemor Swerzy, Raphael Olbinski, Shepard Fairry, Tom Everhart and for celebraties like Donna Summers, Ron Wood, and Ringo Starr. Dropping names seems to be another way that I stand out from other artist. Sorta kidding.
It's just what I gravitate towards. It's like wanting a glass of water when your thirsty. Even when there's nothing to paint I like to render and paint. I tend to paint more people as my subject matter. But, because teaching is also learning I am looking forward to the challenges of your ideas.
