What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to assess the students pre-knowledge. Learning photography can be as complicated as learning a new language. So every bit of knowledge a student posesses can be a bonus or help to learning that next step.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachlors & Masters degrees in Art & Education. Couple that with my 30 plus years of experience in the field. I really do bring a lot to the table to learn.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I charge $30 for 1 hr lesson. That can be customized to your needs.
How did you get started teaching?
At a few of the companies I have worked for, I was tasked with training the new hires. I noticed that I was good at it and also liked doing it. So I went back to school to get a teaching degree, and have been ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught high school and college level photography courses on a multitude of topics.
