Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In our first meeting I like to get a good overview of my client and their goals. What are you most looking to improve on and accomplish? We will set out a plan to help you achieve your full potential.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over a decade of professional experience in areas such as sales, training, management, credit counseling and customer service. I also hold a Bachelors Degree in Social Science which means I have a great understanding of the diverse social issues we face, and how to best address them.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I run a one hour training and charge $60/session.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always been a natural trainer and honestly just fell into the role. As new employees came in I would help them with different tips or small things they could change to do better. Eventually, I developed company wide sales scripts, rebuttals and training program.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with men and women ranging in age between 18 and 65+.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The best advice I can give, is whether you choose me or another teacher, be open to utilizing the tools being provided to you. Sometimes, especially as adults, we can be defensive and less open to constructive criticism or advice. Know that your teacher is there to help bring out your best.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Have an idea of what your goals are. What brought you here today? What do you most want to accomplish? What are your strenghts and weaknesses?
