About

Every training is custom to the athlete there is no straight workout guide. I will create an improvement guide for the athlete to improve in areas that need work and sharpen other skills. Basketball is a mental game as much as physical so expanding the athletes mind on the sport is vital to progress.

I enjoy teaching and passing on the skills I have learned, practiced, and preformed in various settings. I have played 8 years plus organized / high school / college basketball / coached youth leagues. The best part of my job is when an athlete says " I cannot " and then pulls off the left hand layup, cross over, jumpers, and dunks! This is the best part of being a coach / trainer!

My son is very shy, thats why I thought having him play basketball would get him out of his shell, and luckily it did. He enjoyed playing basketball so much in middle school that we decided to get him extra lessons once he started high school especially since he needed to learn how to be a defensive player. He can practice free throws all day but he needed to learn strategy. Coach K has a lot of patience and was great with my son. He taught my son how to take a charge (I had no clue what that meant) but I learned along with him. I thought that my sons offensive skills were good (having him practice free throws before dinner) but apparently my son needed more guidance. Coach K was able to teach him a specialized routine at the free throw line. Coach K also went over fundamentals (again I thought my son knew them but he didnt get the best foundation from his first coach). I highly recommend his lessons from general bball tips to specialized techniques.

    Frequently asked questions

My process is allow the athlete 5-10 min. to show me thier playing style as I observe creating a sculpted trainning to enhance current abilities while teaching new skills. After first meeting every meeting after will be advancing from before and will gradually get more enduring. Our goal is to not only teach but expand on what the athletes skills.

I have played/ coached / and trainned basketball for over 8 years with all ages and genders. This is what makes up my background and experience with basketball and how I can assist the athletes.

First coached my little sisters team and it was met with alot of excitement kids took to me and picked up many skills at age 7. After that I coached 4 teams and started trainnig athletes in preparations for thier following school year.

I have worked with all level of students from ages 5- 18 years of age helping them reach thier goals. We will go over many skills to learn but also the importance of being a STUDENT athlete as well and the importance of balance.

Do as much research as possible and contact and reach out to the coach prior to see if thier are a good fit.
