FYF Hoops

Welcome to FYF Hoops! My name is Luis, I'm 22 and from Brooklyn, NY. My lifelong goal is to be a basketball coach for my own team with the same players from when they are young to professionals! The goal with that is to not only build a team but also a family. Whether they are kids who I will treat as my own or young adults and adults who I will treat like siblings, the plan is to not only be seen as a coach but somebody they can count on in ANY time of need.

Due to my height(5'10") being seen as a defensive liability, I was never able to make it to the second level of basketball which is professional. However, I played in numerous leagues from AAU, high school, and recreation leagues. I've been not only playing the game but also studying it for over 15 years! I do have some experience in private lessons as I trained my younger cousin in her middle school through high school career, I've also had numerous people come to me and ask for advice on how to get better or how to make a team, even those who are older than me!

GOD has given me a gift that I am passionate about which is not only basketball but also giving a helping hand. I am here to help you achieve your goals on and off the court. Look forward to working with you!
