Dawn's Auto School

We like our students to bring a notebook it's our instructors way of communicating with the student, reminding about things they need to work on, things they forget, or things they did really well. Sometimes things go by so fast we like to give our students a opportunity to write in the book so we have a chance to address all their needs. It's also a way for any instructor following to pick up where students last lesson left off. Student progress cards are just not big enough. 

We are licensed to teach by the State and that's very important. We have to go to College and take a required course in classroom teaching techinques. We have over 13 years in experience teaching in behing the wheel instruction.

We charge $40 for 45 min lessons, $45 for one hour. All of our prices can be viewed online. This price is only for local lessons within the Far Rockaway, 5 Towns, Arverne area.

I was in the medical field for a long time, i kind of fell into this and enjoyed it so much i opend my own business and live to teach.

I specialize in students with special needs, Autsim, OCD, teaching with Wheel spinner, and I have tought Drivers Education in High School For many Years. Senior Citizens needing to learn to drive for the first time or learning again after not doing it for so many years.

We do a great deal of work with the community. We love to support local business and Dawn's Auto School also Teaches the Pre-licensing course at Rockaway Youth Task force. We like to give back to our community as well. We work closely with the Senator's office and Councilman to support our community.

Allow the teacher to teach, you need to allow yourself to become vulnerable it's the only way you will grow. Greatness comes from places where you don't feel comfortable work through that feeling strech yourself!

Students just need to keep in mind this is a process every student's progress differs therefore be patient and trust your instructor. You just want to make sure the school and instructor is licensed.
