About
I am a game player, a team player, a motivator, an inspirator, a cheerleader, not just a teacher, or an educator. So when a student/s is placed in my hands, my only goal and motives are to ensure that they succeed at all cost. That's how I stand out, I hit the floor running and I'm always ready and willing to get the job done to the highest capacity.
Teaching is not only about making money for me, it's my calling, it's my passion and it's what I live to do. My students become a part of who I am and that defines me to ensure that each day I only give my utmost best. The most interval part of my teaching philosophy is,"No one gets left behind and each one teaches the other".What that said, if my students fail, it means I need to go back to the drawing board and start a new game plan to ensure that we fix and correct the issues.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Teaching new students starts with an introductory process which begins with a meeting with the students and parents on Zoom or Skype to build a relationship in getting to know each other. This helps in getting the student to feel comfortable before the actual lesson periods are placed in motion. My first lesson begins with a free assessment and it starts with viewing previous classwork that was carried out by the student and then a rubric assessment that will let you know the pupil's academic level before you I begin to prepare my lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor degree in English and Psychology and I have been teaching grade levels from 3 - 7 since 2010. I am also licensed to teach in the United States and the United Arab Emirates. I'm also TEFL Certified. I have taught students living in countries such as the USA, Jamaica, Iraq, Kuwait, Mexico, and the UAE. I have experienced in using the following curriculums to conduct, modify and prepare my lessons, American Core and Standard Curriculum, English National Curriculum, and the International Primary Curriculum. I also attend upto date CPD sessions to hone my skills.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Are you struggling with the English Language in class and at home whenever you need to do your homework, is putting a constructive sentence together seems like a hard task? Well, help is here at a low cost.
My first lesson for 35 minutes with any new student is free of cost, this includes meeting the student, reviewing their previous lessons and submitting an assessment, a simplified test to know their academic level in the particular subject area or areas.
10 minutes before each lesson begins I'll be on Zoom or Microsoft Team waiting for the student or students and up to 15 minutes after the initial start time. If the student/s is 15 minutes late the lesson will automatically be canceled.
A one-hour notification must be sent to this email if the student intends to cancel his or her lesson. If the student is trying to request a time and day change for the original set lesson a two-hour notification must be sent to see if the rescheduling is possible to the email mentioned below.

How did you get started teaching?
I have always wanted to become a teacher and I knew that being anything else was never going to fulfill me. I worked as a LPN for a few years and I knew something was missing, the zeal and passion but mainly the fulfillment of being happy and having that peace within. After my daughter left the nest egg, I embarked on that journey and 10 years later I'm still here with all the vim, zeal, and vitality as when I just started on this journey.
What types of students have you worked with?
The students that I work with are non-native English students, whether they be children or adults. I also work with students who have special needs, students who require assistance with their homework, or advice on how to get a project done.
