E.D.P. School is a non-profit career school in the Sheepshead Bay neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, founded in 1997. It offers career-focused certificate programs in allied health, business, and language training. Programs include Medical Assistant, Diagnostic Ultrasonography, Accounting & Bookkeeping, English as a Second Language (ESL), ESL & Business Communications, and medical aide training such as Home Health Aide, with identified tracks for Personal Care Aide and Certified Nurse Aide. Instruction blends classroom learning with extensive lab hours, led by instructors who work in the fields they teach. The Medical Assistant curriculum covers clinical and administrative procedures, including vital signs, venipuncture, EKGs, specimen collection, and injections.
E.D.P. School is licensed by the New York State Education Department’s Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision and has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education since 2018. Admissions staff provide guidance on enrollment and program selection, and information on financial aid is available for those who qualify. The campus serves the Brooklyn community with extended weekday and weekend hours.
