About
Singing Italian opera since age 14, I found my voice and home in Italian language and culture. I attained fluency through taking all levels (1-6 + upper division courses) at UCLA; in an intensive language program in Camerino, Italy; and through living abroad in Bologna, Italy for one year taking my Psychology and Italian cultural classes (Dante Alighieri literature, History of Italian Food, and Italian Opera) all in Italian with oral exams. Further, I have performed with Italian choral groups.
In 2016, I started an Italian language school in California. I have taught hundreds of students through group classes (from Basics to Advanced Grammar/Conversation) and individual and family lessons. I currently teach all my students online, integrating the most efficient and effective methods from all of my Italian immersion experiences. I’m confident that it is possible to attain fluency with the right approach. My passion is to connect with others through languages and music, and I would be delighted to help you do the same.
