About
I have been a college mathematics tutor at the CUNY Queensborough Community College Math Learning Center for the past three years; where I also received my Associates Degree in Science for Mechanical Engineering. I am currently studying at SUNY Maritime College for my Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
I provide students with help and explanations of concepts; along techniques to solving mathematical problems in an organized fashion so that it can be easily comprehended.
My goals with students are to guide them towards a self sufficient position where they no longer need any tutoring and can solve problems independently with a much stronger undertanding; rather than just doing the work for them.
I look foward to helping more students who seek a furthuer understanding of the mathematcs and sciences.

Being a student, I know how fustrating confusing concepts can be especially in math and science courses. Thats why I enjoy helping students to the point where they no longer need help; relieving all of that extra stress. Majority of my students end up findng their work a lot easier than they did before they came.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start by getting an idea of where the student initally stands in their comprehension of the material. This is to avoid wasting time on teaching concepts that the student may already be sufficient in. Therefore, we can focus our time together into areas where the student is struggling.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Associates Degree in Engineering Science, and I am currently studying towards my Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have completed several calculus and physics courses that have helped me develop a strong understanding of the sciences; in which I still continue to expand as I progress towards my Bachelots degree.
