I hope you are doing well.

I am responding to your inquiry regarding a piano teacher.

As I have much experience working with children and adults with piano and here in the US and the United Kingdom, I am very much interested in this opportunity and hope to speak to you in the next few days.

Currently a resident in Park Slope, I am an accomplished pianist and award-winning composer who recently just relocated from London in October. From 2007-2008 I was the Music Director/Choir Accompanist for a local church when living in San Francisco from 2014-2017. My last church organist post in Stoke Newington, London included conducting and accompanying a group of church members. Moreover, I have also professionally performed in choirs based in San Francisco (2004-2008), and New York City (2009).

In addition to serving as a pianist for various high school and middle school music theatre productions in San Francisco, I was also the sub accompanist and an acting Music Director for the Bay Theatre District rehearsals of "The Fantastiks" at the Actors' Equity in Midtown, and was hired as a cabaret accompanist and an arranger (opening song for show) for an Off-Off Broadway Musical Theatre Review show ("The Swinging Office 60's Christmas Party) with Bizarre Noir Productions, which was performed at the Theater's Players Loft in the Village in 2008. I was also the pianist and assistant Music Director for Urban Academy's Musical Theatre Review Program. In 2013 I had conducted a middle school performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA in London. In addition, I have countless experience as a composer, arranger and orchestrator.

As an accompanist, vocal coach and pianist, I have coached/taught singers and performers throughout London and New York City, in a variety of styles and genres for many age groups. I have also taught piano, singing and music theory/composition privately and with classroom settings for young kids, in San Francisco, New York City, and London, UK since 2004.

I hold advanced degrees from the Royal Academy of Music (PhD in Music Composition), the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (Master's Degree in Composition), and Berklee College of Music (Bachelor's in Composition & Film Scoring). In addition, I have attended the European American Musical Alliance Summer Course in Paris, France in 2002 and 2008, which offers training in solfege, harmony, theory, counterpoint, and voice leading.
