About
I am in a constant learning state where helping others in their creation path is helping me in mine.
"Finding my true self can be done only by answering who I am, what I feel, what I do and what I am committed to, I am an artist in the process. art it is..."
I am a self thought/college artist, I've been studying at Hunter College NYC, I am an emerging artist, had a few exhibitions in NYC and love to share most of my work with everyone who appreciates effort, dedication and talent.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Talking of likes in art, experience in painting or drawing, what is the purpose behind the class... Is it for school homework? For high school diploma on arts? Is it for college practice and guide? I can develope a plan to go through on a specific time, based on the student needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
studied in an art high school, graduated in communications and journalism where I learn the process of teaching and learn technical procedures in illustration and drawing, also studied at Hunter College Fine Arts and on my way to MFA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Mostly by time. Theres a rate per hour. In case the student don't have materials will discuss extra fees. There is a Fee for kids until age 14, and another for everybody else older.
How did you get started teaching?
All my life when I was drawing or painting find people near me that enjoy watching, so I decided to invite them to join me and they love it... Started with my cousins in the country houses on vacation when we were little...
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly from 20's to 40's. A few experiences with kids. I just did a kids workshop for Halloween in the east village, completely a success.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
An exhibition at the American Folk Art museum at Lincoln Center. It's exciting because it's happening at the time I'm working on a mask project related to Dia de Los Muertos. It was definitely FUN!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Read and look at art to find what's really appealing. If you live in NYC go to museums and galleries. Make a list and visit the different districts to see what's is happening today! It's really fun. As an Art Historian I can provide different factors to make art more understandable, approachable and exciting!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should ask anything they need to know. Also depending of what they want to learn should check what they need to be ready for class...
