Hello, I am a multi media artist workwing in drawing, painting, and sculpture who has exhibited here in New York, San Francisco and other parts of the country. Although, I first received my biggest recognition to date from exhibitions in drawing I have also exhibited paintings and sculpture. My primary focus is portraiture, still-life and the urban environment. I always stress the basics of line, shape and form while instilling a sense of confidence and pride as you develop your skills. The key is to not be intimidated by the process and be willing to put in the time.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I don't have a typical process because I believe that every student is unique and as a teacher you have to sometimes try different approaches depending on the student. I like to make an initial assesment based on what he or she believes their skill level is, afterwards it is just a matter of stressing the fundamentals through practical applications, exercise and critical looking.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B. F. A. and M. F. A. from the San Francisco Art Institute. I have completed several residencies, exhibited my work in New York and other parts of the country as well as worked on public projects.
