I took this class while I was taking a long vacation in NYC this past couple of weeks visiting a friend. A group of us decided to do something new and found this art class. I never considered myself having any talent in art and was rather shy about my abilities. Al was wonderful! She encouraged me and really helped in bringing out the creativity in me in a very laid back, fun, and welcoming environment. It was a wonderful experience and now I have a custom/self-made souvenir hanging on my wall! I strongly recommend to people from all backgrounds/experience levels.

Al Benkin put all my fears at ease with her patient and light hearted teaching style. I'm definetely taking more classes with her

Al is a wonderful, talented, patient teacher. She will take the time to teach you the basics and use those skills create more advanced paintings. You can tell she really loves what she does, and I had a great time painting and learning from her.
