As an award-winning filmmaker and photographer, I've been able to bring students years of media experience plus my background in education. This includes the California Film Institute, the organization that puts on the Mill Valley Film Festival; BAYCAT, a non-profit media enterprise; CollegeSpring, aimed at uplifting underserved youth; and more. I've been able to lead artists with a passion for seeing them grow.
To support others in the arts and telling their own stories would be an honor. My enthusiasm for storytelling is rooted in cultivating diverse and truthful content. My lifelong goal is to use film to shed light on voices that have not been heard while speaking truth to power. After creating stories that have connected with audiences in indie theatres to the Cannes Film Festival - the most celebrated international fest in the world - I know this goal is possible through relentless passion and diligence.
