Street Shots Photography
About
My experience puts me in a great position to help students in multiple areas in the field of photography. I'm versed in portraits, landscapes, still life, street photography, digital porcessing, film photography, fine art photography. The galleries at my website (http://amrosario.com) show the range of my photographic endeavors and skills.
What pleases me the most is seeing a student discover something new about their abilty to create an image with their camera. When a student sees their own potential to expand their artistic vision using the art of photography, my satisfaction is without words.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Through a virtual meeting I try to assess what level the student is currently working at. I also seek out the questions the student has specifically about what they would like to learn. From that, I put together a lesson plan that is either one session or multiple ones depending on the subject they wish to learn about.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and have been in the photography/media business ever since. I have taught private students and now run three photography classes at BRIC Arts Media in Brooklyn. Two classes are virtual (Intro to Digital Photography & Intro to Smartphone photography) and the other is a live class (Intro to Street Photography).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My prices are based on hourly lessons where any session under two-hours is $45/hour (one hour minimum). Longer sessions are discounted at $120 for a three-hour session. All sessions include free follow-up emails.
