I am a seasoned photographer 40 years as a freelance photographer. Attended the San Fran isco Art Institute for filmmaking. I have been creating photo essays,and personal journalism for many years now. I would teac students the Art of the Photo Essay. I will also teach students how to find a subject that visually interests them,then create photos{many] to it becomes a way to obserb details and the essence of your subject....

I work on many subjects, and always looking for a certain beauty within them-people,places,things...................I also create with improvisation,and intuition to expand the language of the photo medium.......................

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We will go and capture everyday life realities on the streets,places,neighborhoods.................The studentds will learn how to find their story to tell and express in the form of a visual essay.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have study photography in Europe,and have studied at the San Francico Art Institute for photography and film making.I have travelled and created photo essays for many years. I have been creating images for over 40 years now. There is a documentary made on my life as a photographer titled; SHADOWS IN THE BOX by the French/American vaintinofilmworks-now on vimeo..........
