Music, Composition, Recording, Production, and all things audio...
From composing for media, performing as a pianist, programming in Logic Pro/Protools/etc, to producing artists, I am a versitle creator and teacher. I teach privately, as well as in various institutions around the city. I am fluent in all the major DAWs (Logic Pro has been my native language for about 20 years). I produce all styles. My background is in jazz piano but I usually find myself working in other genres.
In addition to being well versed in all things music & audio, I am an exceptionally good teacher. It's my super-power and I teach ALL LEVELS!

Nathan is more than just an amazing engineer and producer. He is and extremely gifted teacher. He breaks things down and takes his time to explain them in a way that makes complicated stuff seem easy. He’s really patient (and nice). Also, I really like working at his studio. It’s really easy to see what’s going on, trying new things, and work alongside him. I also really like that he is very knowledgeable about music, audio, recording, computers, etc. I’ve actually learned a lot of stuff that didn’t even have to do with what I came in there to learn and it’s just as useful as the rest of it. He’s also a dope piano player and THE Logic Pro X ninja! Thanks Nathan!! Highly recommended!
The first lesson is generally a bit of give and take as I get to understand whay you are looking to learn, weigh your priorities, and gauge your resources (time/money/etc)
I've composed music for all sorts of media, produced artists in a myriad of genres, consulted for studios, manufacturers, and taught at many institutions.
I create individualized lesson plans and make resources and communication easy and availible to my students.

Questions are more important than answers. Knowing how to identify what you don't know is the key to a lifetime of growth.
