About
I enjoy working with youth to college athletes who are looking to enhance there athletic performance through strength and conditioning. I also have a passion for basketball specific training.
I have been a strength & conditioning coach for the past two years and had worked with athletes from age nine to college athletes. Also, I have personal experience in playing basketball and improving kids basketball skills within my own community.
I am certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and a certified Exercise Physiologist (E-PC). I am also CPR/AED certified through American Red Cross.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to first do an physical assessment then after the assessment and some drills I like to sit down with the parent and player to discuss goals, strengths, and weaknesses.
If possible, I would like to see game footage of the athlete as well so I can see how he or she performs in a full game environment.
Finally, I'd like to develop a systematic progression training model to enhance and further develop the athlete's basketball skills as well as speed and agilty skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors of Science: Exercise Science & Kinesiology
Doctor of Physical Therapy: Student
Certifications: Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have standard one on one pricing systems and group rates.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been coaching since I was in college because people sought out my skill set and practical knowledge about the game.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked from youth athletes all the way up to professional athletes.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would suggest having a meeting with a coach to see if the athlete, parent, and coach are on the same understanding. Next, I would do a session with the coach to evaluate his skills as a parent and athlete. Finally, I would make a decision if i want to continue to work with that coach.
