Susan Eckert Photography LLC
About
Hi. I am a Long Island based professional photographer and studio owner. My work has been published in photography (eg Professional Photographer, Digital Photo Pro, etc) and fine art magazines, and exhibited in art galleries. I have also published a book on photography (Body & Soul published by Focal Press). I conduct occasional small group workshops in my space on the business of photography, posing, lighting and retouching. I am also available for one-on-one coaching/mentoring and instruction.
I am passionate about the entire image-making process. Learning to SEE what others will so often fail to notice. Seeing light in a way others do not. Capturing the beauty of nature, faces and the human form. And understanding how to manipulate images in post to bring out their potential...or create something magical.
