While I continue to exhibit my work all over NYC and the world, I am dedicated to the notion that, as inherently "creative creatures", all people can greatly benefit by developing the ability to take an idea, and bring it out into the world for others to experience through the artistic process. To help fellow artists of any skill level develop this ability is something that brings me the truest joy.
To help fellow artists of any skill level discover their creative voices is a wonderful experience which results in a lifetime of benefits for both student and teacher.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After an initial asessment of the student's general skill level, I like to engage them in a discussion about what they would like to get out of our interactions, as well as where they see themselves in the future, whether art is something they plan to pursue as a career, or as a form of personal enjoyment... Or both. Then we dive in by using their own interests to develop the skills that will help them improve as artists.
