What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Introduce myself and ask student to introduce themselves. Then ask about their profession, whether they are healthcare or non healthcare worker. Also ascertain why they think the class is right for them.
During the class we play video, do simulations and skills training. Also students' questions are entertained. Student are also asked question in order to determine where they stand in terms of knowledge of facts so far taught.
Students sometimes will be offerred a skills examination and a written examination. Remediation is offerred Students that need remediation.
