Frequently asked questions

On the first meet, I will ask them of their academic goals, and list the areas in English that will need assistance with.

I will then give students an assessment tailored to their grade level.

After I've collected data, I will proceed on making lesson plans for each meet, thereafter.

I have a Bachelor of Science in English. Pursing my Master's in Education, and I have been a Charter School teacher for 2 years.

$30 = 60 mins

$60= 90 mins

I started teaching by becoming an RA in college. I loved being a leader, guiding students, and creating programs. Whether it was financial literacy programs, how to find the perfect summer job, or how to take the best classes for one's major, I absolutely enojyed teaching and learning with my residents.

I have worked with UPK aged shortly after graduation (3 months)

I have done afterschool and summer camp programs (elmentary and middle school aged)

I have been an RA for college aged adults

My current role, is that I am a co-teacher for a 9th grade English class.

A recent event I am fond of in the pandemic. There is a blessing in uncertainty and crisis. I believe this pandemic has opened my eyes to the true hearts of people, to the need for the best quality education for our students, and to the importance of having great leaders and mentors in the lives of others.

I would advise the student to make sure that the teacher's mission, thoughts, and goals align with those of your own. It is your journey, your life, and your education. It is important to make the best decisons for you.

Students will need to think through topics that they need to improve.

Students need to be transparent about their strengths and weaknesses.

Students need to understand that teachers want the best and a rigoruous tutor session is preparation for success.
