About
Hello,
My name is Ruth. Ever since I started teaching at the college level, I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance, inspiring students’ interest in language, and instilling a sense of self-worth among all students.
I got my bachelor degree in International Communications with a minor in Education at University of Nottingham, UK; then I pursued my master degree in Journalism at Syracuse University, New York. The part-time teaching assistant position at Language Center of Syracuse University made me decide to become a full-time teacher in 2014, and ever since I have taught over 200 students from more than 20 different countries, ranging from age 15-50+:: beginners, experts, extroverted adults, shy children, Japanese salarymen, French lawyers, German CEOs, Harvard university teachers, Indian engineers, South African musicians... but also gifted children, curious housewives and retired teachers.
