What types of students have you worked with?
We have a very diverse student population and offer classes to all levels of students. Most of our students are working professionals. Programmers, lawyers, teachers, doctors, realtors, designers, entrepreneurs, and corporates. Young adults and kids are also a big component of our student body.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
As an educational institute, we not only provide classes to our students but also to the public. We host free Meetup classes twice a month for anyone who's interested in learning Mandarin.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always meet the teacher first. If you can, try a lesson with the teacher. Look at what other people say about the teacher/school. Last but not least, you need to like the teacher to like the class.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Your schedule/availability. If you can't commit, then wait. It's always not too late to start. Rushing to a decision might not help in learning a new language. After all, it's a long journey that requires not only your enthusiasm but dedication.
