I am a professional and experienced Chinese tutor in New York City. I am originally from Beijing and Mandarin is my native language. I am a certified teacher and I have been teaching Mandarin for 10 years. I am currently a mandarin teacher in a private school program for young actors in Broadway shows. I am also the Chinese teacher in one Chinese school in manhattan. I am working in ABC languages. I tutors many different students from three years old to college students. I helped high school students AP Chinese test. I also helped college students to pass their Chinese lesson. I like to use different ways for different students. I try many ways to teach students how to memorize Chinese characters.
I like to teach students Chinese. I am so please to hear students can speak very fluent Chinese. I can find right textbook for different students and help them improve Chinese in short time. I am good at keeping students interesting in Chinese and happy to do this.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will try different ways to evaluate students level of listening, speaking reading and writing. I have different levels textbooks. And I can choose the best one for students to use. I will have conversations with students on different topics and figure out which way to use in future teaching.

I have Master degree for education.

yes. $60/hour. If students pay 10 lessons one time, the fee $550.
