I have been taking classes with her for well over 2 years, and I've found a confidence in myself I never knew I had. She's an amazing teacher and if you're having trouble keeping up, she breaks down the movements slowly and carefully. I definitely recommend her class.❤

  • Kat Nieves-Bachman

Not only does it show that the instructor not only is a master at her art, but is amazing at showing anyone how to do it. She will break down the movements and techinques with enthusiasm that not only teach you but keeps you motivated.

She's made me a better dancer. Always learning something new and fun with her.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

With a new I start with basic bellydance movements and posture for a few weeks and then we add layering.  Learning about where your body is moving from is so important that I try to focus on that for at least 2-3 weeks.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have studied ballet, tap , jazz, flamenco, and Bellydancing, as well as currently studying Indian folk rajasthani

How did you get started teaching?

i have always had a passion for education. I love teaching people and seeing the spark light up in their eyes when something that was making them struggle now becomes second nature.  My teachers had always encouraged me to teach and show people how to love and move like never before so I decided that I would take my learning to the next level and teach.

What types of students have you worked with?

i have worked with mostly beginner level and mixed level students

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

make sure you really like the way that person dances and that you want to learn how the move.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

are you trying to go professional with your art or are you looking for a way to excersise
