In light of COVID-19 outbreak, I offer online flute lessons with flexible times. They are live online lessons by FaceTime, WeChat, Line, Skye or Zoom.  I'm offering discounts as we are in difficult time. I teach students from 6 years old to adult. I have been teaching for 20 years and teaching online for 8 years.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I will meet a new student for a free consultation. 

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Honors graduate of Toho Gakuen School of Music, Tokyo . Flute major. ¨ Magna cum laude graduate of Osaka College of Music ( Japan ). Flute major. ¨ Jofannesen International School of Music, Victoria Island . Studied with Steve Kujara. ¨ Also studied with Andreas Blaw, Soichi Minegishi, Ryu Noguchi, and Nozomu Machinaga. TEACHING EXPERIENCE ¨ Teaching for over twenty Years at such places as International Buisiness & Culture Academy , Yamaha Music School and private Students in Los Angeles , Miami , Atlanta , and the greater Washington DC area. ¨ 2003 Georgia State MTA competition two of her students received highest award of Outstanding Performer of which one was chosen as overall "Convention Recitalist". ¨ Several of her students have gone to music high school and college.

How did you get started teaching?

I start teaching and performing flute when I was 20 years old with Yamaha music company in Japan. Performance

What types of students have you worked with?

I taught student from 5 to 65 years old. My students are beginner to advanced students. I prepare for NISSMA audition, music college auditions. Many of my students went to music college and became flutist, music teacher in a school and flute teacher.
