About

Has speaking German always been your dream? Would you like to improve your German? Do you need help with German declension?

Hey! My name's Stefan, I'm 21 years old, and I'm an student of economics in Vienna. In my leisure time, I like to give German lessons.

I'm looking for a student to work with on a regular basis. As I live in Austria, please mind the difference in time zones (Central European Time Zone: UTC +1/+2)! I'm flexible, but I may not be available at 5 PM 'your time.'

So if you'd like to learn German, please contact me :)

    Frequently asked questions

First, I'd like to know if the student already has some knowledge of German and what their goals are. If they already know some German, I compare their self-assessment with my impression. It is important for me to know a student's motivation and their goals to better adjust my lessons to their needs.
I'm a native speaker with experience working with a variety of students. I've already taught German and English (as a 2nd language).
My former students include both native speakers as well as non-native speakers. Working with these two groups poses slightly different challenges. Native speakers often need help writing texts or they need to improve their spelling / grammar. Pretty much the same is true for people with German as their second language. Focusing on grammar is usually more important with them, though. I've also had a non-native speaker with whom I did an elementary course.
