I have had lessons with Tony for three or four years, and over that time I have developed significantly as a guitarist, due to his depth of knowledge, and his perceptive and pragmatic teaching approach. He skillfully tailors his instruction to my shifting needs. We have worked on technique and music theory as needed, but also jammed and brainstormed melodies to help me with composition, as I have been playing in a gigging band, doing shows around NYC. I highly recommend him as a teacher for any level of player, and believe that he can both improve your playing, and also share his love of music with you.

Tony is, hands down, the best guitar teacher Ive come across in NYC. He seamlessly combines theory and technique, and lessons are always both challenging and fun. Because playing music should be fun. My technical ability and composing were transformed by him. And hes GREAT company.
