About
I'm a professional makeup artist with over 8 years of experience teaching. I started my career at the Make Up For Ever Academy's master program and finished at the top of my class. Currently I work in the industry as a freelance makeup artist and face painter for photoshoots, weddings and other special events.
For beauty makeup I like to take a skin-first approach to teaching and application, focusing on color correction and sculpting. I believe makeup should enhance one's unique features I teach you to do just that. As far as face painting and theatrical makeup, i can teach you techniques to make amazing designs look effortless and tips and tricks to help you get started using your new skills to make money.
Everything from an every day natural face to a dramatic halloween character look is broken down in easy to follow steps at your own pace. You can work with the makeup you have or I can curate a list of products catered to your skin tone and desired outcome.
Lessons can be done virtually via Zoom or in person at your home. I travel within Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx and some parts of Long Island.
I've been told my teaching style is very easy to follow and I enjoy seeing my students progress and improve their skills!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we'll go over what type of lesson they're interested in- natural makeup, dramatic makeup or theatrical/halloween makeup. Then go through the supplies and whether or not they will need to purchase anything. I like looking at inspiration photos to see what exactly they'd like to learn and plan my lesson accordingly.
