I started teaching long time ago while I was helping my professors to run their workshops.

I've worked with different types of students from beginners to advanced.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Regardless of the instructor's background, and reviews written by the past students, I suggest students to have a free consultation over the particular course and their desire subject, with the instructor ahead of time!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should think through the area of their expectations and what specifically they need from the instructor.
