I am easy going, patient and fun guy. I love photography. I will take as much time as you feel is necessary for you to learn your personal journey through photography. If there is something that I do not know you can bet I will find out. It is not all about the technical aspects of a camera, lighting, etc., but more about the photographer expressing their view of their world.
I love that I can capture something that will never happen again and show my look at the world around me to others that they may or may not have noticed. I also love storytelling through my photography.The fact that I may be able to teach someone else these very same things is an incredible blessing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Firstly, I try to find out about the person's history with photography, where they are in their journey and what is it they want from the art of photography. I then try to find out more of their technical place and the equipment they use or will be purchasing. I then, if needed start with basics of photography. Oh I also like to know if and who are their favorite photographers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am basically a self taught photographer starting back in the film days where I learned hands on photography. I would assist professional photographers for free in return for learning the art. I have of course taken courses at NYU to keep up with the technical age and such.
