Welcome! This is Susan of Fischer Music Studio. I've been teaching piano, theory and composition in New York and Canada for over 30 years and love to see my students enjoy the miracle of making music! Recitals are given every year allowing students the opportunity to perform and motivated students are encouraged to take conservatory graded evaluations and receive certificates of achievement. Music by the classic composers as well as popular genres are taught. Children and adults at any level from beginner to advanced are welcome!

Susan holds a Masters from NYU Steinhardt School of Music and Performing Arts Professions in Musicology and Composition, as well as an Associate Degree from Conservatory Canada in Music Performance and Education.

Susan really understands how children learn! She combines the perfect balance of theory, finger agility skills, and songs that inspire the individual child. My children come home from their piano lessons and run to the piano to reprise Star Wars and The Sound of Music! They really love to play thanks to Susan!!
