What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Usually the first session i have will be an assesment to see what i think the player needs to improve. Along with getting the players input on what they think they need to improve on as well. Then i will explain in detail why it's important to improve in the given part of the game. After that i recommend a training program we can work on together to the player or parent if the player isn't old enough.
What types of students have you worked with?
I'v worked with students all kinds of ages ranging from 3-25.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say ask them precisely what experience they have, a lot of coaches in America only have a basic knowledge of soccer in comparision to Europe and other places where Soccer is the main sport of the land.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What part of your game do you think needs the most work? What is the important skillset to have in soccer?
