We focus on developing players away from their time with us on the field. Whether that be through helping them reflect on games. Providing accountability for at home training. Or working with athletes to develop a personalized set of goals.

Besides helping players away from the field sessions, we also focus on providing athletes skills they need in life. Responsibility, ownership and resiliency being among the top traits.

I truly enjoy the work I do. Especially having worked with many students over several years. It's amazing seeing players who've trained with us since inception (even before 2018 when the business became official).

Seeing player growth on and off the field is everything to me.

    My son Gregory just finished the summer season with Tiempo Academy and has been training with Coach Fernando for almost a year now. I absolutely love this soccer program. We have seen a tremendous jump in our son’s skills set and confidence from the start. He has had a more positive attitude towards the game and loves coming to practice especially for street soccer which is a free and unstructured play that the players would have after the training and where they demonstrate their soccer skills and moves. I have recommended other parents to his program and will continue to praise Coach Fernando and the Academy.

    Frequently asked questions

    We have an assessment process for any new family interested in working with us.
     
    During this process we take time to understand the child and their goals. We also use this process to assess the player's current level.
     
    The assessment helps us understand how we can best help the athlete. And also gives the family an opportunity to make sure we're a great fit to work together before joining.

    US Soccer Licensed Coach

    Over 7 years experience in club, academy, grassroots and private professional training programs.

    Pricing varies depending on the program. We have season by season programs or yearly programs.

    We understand all player's are different and have different goals, which is way we have varying program levels.

    The initial assessment process is a $75. If it's a fit on all sides, the deposit is counted towards the program registration.

    Started teaching/coaching as volunteer for my local club. Over time developed into a full time career and business. 

    The main themes with our young athletes and their families are commitment, consistency and coachability.
     
    We work with children aged 7+ who love the game, are eager to learn and serious about improving.
     
    Skill and ability is secondary to the commitment level of the player and family.

    Find someone who is a fit for your child. Not every coach is going to be a fit for you and vice versa. In any case, make sure the coach takes a genuine interest and invests in your child's development. Not only as a player but as a person. Find the coach who will make YOUR child better.

    Why do you want additional training? This is the biggest question children and parents should have an answer to. Once you know why you're training, it becomes easier to choose a program or coach that suits you and your child's needs.
