Coach Rob began his first two years at Tompkins Cortland Community College and won the title (MSACC) Mid State Athletic Conference Champion his first year. He then became Second year All MSAC and led the Men’s Basketball team averaging 19.3 points per conference game in 2015. Coach Rob was the Third highest scorer in the conference and fifth best in steals per game (2.1). He led the MSAC in free throw percentage (88.1) and was forth in three point shooting percentage (42.7). After, he transferred to the Sage of Colleges where he averaged over 10 points per game 2015-16. His last year of college basketball he broke the record for the Sage of Colleges becoming the #1 single game scorer.
Training kids and and focusing on overall development is most important. Repetition and knowing the importance of why we do any type of drill is crucial. Making yourself comfortable with the skills you're familiar with and then attacking your weaknesses at a slow pace, is how you advance rapidly. Building confidence is key. The game of basketball is 60% mindset & 40% skill.
