I teach hands on along with theory so that students can quickly grasp the techniques and basics. Someone with a good ear and aptitude for music can strengthen their possible weakness in theory. Practical application of a student's music theory can help them perform/recite better. I teach in a laid-back, fun approach to playing the instrument. I work at the STUDENT'S PACE but give a positive push of motivation when needed.

I love witnessing a student reach that "Urika moment" and realizes they know what I taught them! Sometimes the student won't even realize until after I point it out, that they played an etude well and have it down-pat. Then comes that smile.
