What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Finding out their interest and goals prior to starting classes
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified painting instructor, with several years of teaching experience. I teach paint classes for large groups and individuals I also teach art classes for kids. I reach out of the CNY Community Arts Center in Fulton and travel to different places that want to host a class. I teach in acrylic, oils, watercolors, pencil and ink.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Large group classes are between $30-40 per a 3-4 hour class per person. Private lessons are $20 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always been artistic and interested in art. I started teaching after I took a group painting class and realized I loved it. Looked into getting certified, and 9 years later I still love teaching art to individuals.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught from ages 5 to 85. I've worked with men and women as well as special needs groups and individuals.
