Excellent teacher she is in the real world. Every word she talks comes out of experience. Suggest to add few additional follow up classes after the initial class to make sure everyone is on the same page. Of course teachers time is important, and should charge us. . This will help me not to go back I phone.

It was a pleasure meeting Hannah. Her lesson was personalized and I was able to try out some of the settings of my camera we went over in class right away. I also really appreciated that she researched my camera before our lesson, as it helped a ton. Her explanations of aperture, shutter speed, ISO and light conditions were super helpful in dialing in my camera for a great composition. She has a lot of knowledge of portraits and is eager to share her knowledge. I highly recommend Hannah to someone just dipping their toes in photography or for those interested in starting their own photography business.

Hannah is very knowledgeable about photography and very easy to work and communicate with. She easily gets you to understand the basics and also listens to your questions and your ideas and answers you in a easily understandable way that you can immediately use. I would be comfortable recommending Hannah for your lessons, wedding, portrait shoot, etc. She knows how to capture that magic moment that we all hope for in a photo shoot! :)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I schedule individual lessons as needed. Each student will come with goals and questions that I will make a priority to answer. I have a follow up Facebook group for continuing discussions, questions and sharing!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Countless hours of on the job photography, including families, weddings, headshots, maternity, newborn and more!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$249 for two hour lesson
How did you get started teaching?
A few friends and family members were asking questions about their cameras, so I set up a "beginner" class for them. I used that to advertise an open class to the public, and I couldn't believe the response I got! I've since switched to more private, regular classes and that seems to be working well for my students and my schedule! I just joined Lessons.com to allow more local people to find me.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with hobbyists, other photographers looking to work on some issues they were having, and people that just bought a camera and didn't know where to start! A few of my students went from my class to starting their own photography businesses! Most people have found my class through my instagram or word of mouth.
I am new to Lessons.com, but have already had one booking through the website, and am in the process of finalizing another.
