    Frequently asked questions

I first like to evaluate their current level of ability and see if there are any areas that can be quickly adjusted. I then discuss with the player what their goals are and adjust the training to help achieve those goals.

I played professional baseball for 6 years in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. I have since coached at all levels from tee-ball up through college.

Pricing starts at $100/hour or $60/half hour with discounts for multiple lessons bought together in advance. I'd be happy to work with you to make sure cost does not prevent your player from getting the instruction they need.

I started coaching after my playing days were done so I could keep involved with the game.

I have worked with all ages and skill levels.

In addition to coaching I also had the good fortune to work for MLB in the league office for over 10 years.

When hiring a teacher be sure the teacher takes your own desires and mechanics into account. Do not let somebody just use a cookie cutter approach to your mechanics.

Students should really think about what they want to achieve and whether or not they are willing to put the work in to achieve those goals.
