What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am halfway done completing my Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance with a concentration in financial planning and minor in Mathematics. I have had training through my tutoring position at the University in which I attend.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently received an email from a professor at my school thanking me for the work that I did with one of his students. In the end of the year evaluations, a student commented, “the understanding that I received from my Tutor Jazmin, helped me tremendously in the last few weeks.” This makes me feel proud because it is always nice to hear that the work you do makes a difference to someone else.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that you can relate to. The more comfortable you feel talking to someone, the more you will get out of the tutoring sessions.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do they really not grasp the material or do they not want to put the time and effort in?
Is there another method of explaining that will be beneficial to grasping the information?
