"We believe that quality coaching is what drives success. So we created a real sports performance program that is designed to keep athletes healthy, elevate their performance, and teach them how to be leaders on their team."

I am a Sports Performance Coach at Total Performance in Mt. Kisco, NY. We work with athletes from ages 12 and up to help prepare them for the demands of their athletic career.

We take our athletes through a performance evaluation to see exactly what need to work on & fast track their development plan.

We offer youth and high school classes, as well as private performance training to better serve the individual needs of our athletes.

Based on the athlete's evaluation, we will cover coach: speed, agility, strength, power, and mobility drills to develop their performance.

All coaches on staff are Certified Strength and Conditioning Specalist (CSCS) through the Natioanl Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), amongst other certifications. All coaches also possess a bachelors and/or masters degree in exercise science or related field. Coaches on staff have a combined 30 years experience training athletes from youth to professional in a wide variety of sports.

    Working with Coach Nate Garcia at TP has been nothing but life changing. His coaching method is different from any other. Not only does he guide you to obtain physical goals but he also guides you mentally. His No Quitting till you get it done approach, has allowed me to surpass limits I never thought I could reach. Coach Nate has become a vital mentor in my path to being a Coast Guard Recruit. During training, every minute is put to good use. He’s prepared for every session to work on my strengths and weaknesses, but also knows how to adjust workouts if I’m not quite ready for what he had planned.     I was training at TP for a week and my experience was great. I learned a lot of exercises that I took back home and still practice. Coach Nate, Tim, and Scott all were very welcoming and great coaches. I was able to learn and perfect techniques to exercises as well. Personally my 40 yard dash time improved with the technology used to track my speed and how I ran. I would recommend this gym to any athlete if any age at any level.

    Frequently asked questions

    Each new athlete completes a performance evaluation based on their age and training expierence. After going over their current abilites, and future goals we create plan in accordance with our findings. 

    Once we start training, we will focus on speed, strength, power and mobility training in varying phases to improve performance. 

    I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science. I have 7 years expierence coaching athletes from the youth to the professional level.

    I found a passion for strength training playing high school football, and that lead me to where I am today. 

    Youth to professional level athletes. 

    Make sure the coach you hire is actually a strength coach, and not just a former high level athlete. Make sure your coach has your best interests in mind, and that they are able to be honest with your goals and expectations. They should be just as passionate about your goals as you are, if not more.
