I provide one-on-one and group art lessons for all ages online. I use the skills and experiences that I've gained as a visual artist and entrepreneur of an art-based business over the last 8 years. For years, I've found fun and immersive ways to teach foundational skills in the visual arts, as well as creative problem-solving techniques through art parties for children and adults. I've often been told that I have tremendous patience and that I'm a great instructor. My groups leave with artwork that makes them proud! I look forward to working with you.
What I enjoy most is creating an opportunity for people to disrupt the monotony of everyday life and push through perceptions that can sometimes limit us. The most fulfilling part is watching people do something they had no idea they could do. All this magic happens in such a joyous and free-spirited atmosphere that we have the power to create. Can't beat that!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I make it very clear that proficiency in the visual arts is about the process, not the end product, although you will surely make art that you are proud of. I believe it's important to begin with a sound foundation for understanding the basic elements and principles of art and design, and how to apply them. I also believe in project-based learning in which the artist is able to exercise freedom and restraint in order to develop technical skills and a unique style.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have expressed myself through the visual arts for as long as I can remember. I received a high school diploma with an art endorsement from a prominent visual arts school, and later went on to earn an associate's degree in graphic design with a 3.9 GPA, securing a full-time job before graduation. I eventually went on to start my own business, beginning as a face painter, and later expanding in ways that allowed me to share my skills and experiences with many others.

I have worked with every group from children as young as four years old to seniors. I work with beginners as well as intermediate and advanced level artists.
