About
I Introduce Latin dance to everyone who wants it and I enjoy watching the caterpillar turn into a butterfly. The special bonds and connections that happen are incredible to experience!!
I teach from the heart and soul. I entertain and try to make people laugh so as to break up any tension they may be experiencing. Basically, my skill is helping you enjoy oneself because it’s not that serious; it’s all the good stuff life has to offer!!
I want everyone who loves to dance, celebrate life doing what they enjoy most. And I help them do just that through Latin dancing.
What I love to do is get people off their phones and their couches and engage with other people face to face....I enjoy watching people (including myself) make new friends or catching up with old ones.
By introducing people to SalsaON2 and other Latin dances in a social setting, we have created a loving community that welcomes everyone!!!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Accessing them as to what they want to accomplish!!
I watch their signs in how they learn. For an example, if a student can learn the basic steps using different scenarios i.e. a left right left or counting 123 567 or being dance with that’s what I’ll do to make them achieve their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took lessons in the Nyack area for about four years, it was more of a ballroom style.
Then I was introduced to SalsaOn2 in the club scene and my passion came alive, so I began taking private lessons to learn this style and that was for about 2-3 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Group classes range from $18-$20 Private lesson start at $65 an hour (prices are based on location).
How did you get started teaching?
I managed a dance studio from booking the space to marketing the instructors, space and the classes. However one day, our Salsa instructor walked out after having a disagreement with the owner. After everything calmed down, I asked the studio owner what will we do, because class was the next day (too short notice to find a replacement) his answer was we will teach because it’s a beginner class & we’ve taken lessons for over four years. So I agreed, however upon students arriving, the studio owner mentioned he forgot he had something pressing to do....And that I should teach the class alone!!! Well I did, with knees shaking. After the class, all the students started to clap, I didn’t know what they were clapping about and upon seeing my inquisitive face, they all said they were clapping for m!! And from there everything changed and my love of teaching SalsaOn2 was born!!!
What types of students have you worked with?
Couples, groups, individuals with two left feet or two right feet, scared beyond all recognition and everything else you could imagine.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was at my weekly event, and I found out that a student was traveling from the Bronx to Rockland County to take my class. I was just so honored and appreciative and his kind words of my teaching skills and his feelings of being comfortable with me just made my day!!!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Overall you should take lessons with different instructors because that’s the way to become the best dancer because you’ll get the benefits of everyone’s abilities. However, upon your start take lessons from someone that makes you feel confident, that makes you laugh, that makes you enjoy what you’re doing because at the end of the day it’s all about having fun!!!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
You should think through what kind of style you want to learn. There’s so many styles of salsa from every Latin country. You should think about do you want to take classes in groups? Do you want private lessons so that you could build your confidence before dancing in front of people? Do you like parties and taking lessons in that atmosphere. And if you find a teacher who provides all of those scenarios, like myself lol it’s a bonus!!!
