My name is Matthew Yarnall, I am a 2020 Amherst College graduate with a high honors B.A. in biochemistry and biophysics. I have one year of experience tutoring general chemistry and two years tutoring organic chemistry. I have worked as a lab researcher in a genetics lab at Columbia University and in a biochemistry lab at Amherst College. I love teaching and am persuing a career as a professor; I am currently looking to tutor someone to stay productive during quarantine and academically help someone that wants/needs it. I can teach general biology or microbiology, genetics, and AP biology (I got a 5 on the APbio exam in 2016) as well as various chemistry disciplines including AP Chem. We can figure out a rate, but something between $15-20 an hour is what I’m looking for; if you can’t afford that, reach out and we can figure something out.
