What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I offer a free meeting with new students to allow them to get to know me and how I teach. We usually discuss what the student wants to learn and what ways they learn most effectively.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended Horace Mann School for 6 years and I am entering 10th grade. I have received learning outside of school in Science, Writing, and Mathematics from both experienced educators and on my own.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons are priced at a standard fee of $15 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I tutored kids all throughout middle school and I really enjoyed it. All the kids I've worked with have excelled at what they are doing. It makes me really proud and I want to continue tutoring online and helping kids during the pandemic.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types of kids! From middle schoolers a year younger than me to elementary school children who are 6-7.
