About
My name is Jessica and I am a yogi enthusiast and wellness/life coach. I started yoga about 4 years. I went through a traumatic event in my life that put me into a downward spiral of depression. Then I met this amazing woman who taught yoga and thus my interntal healing began! After doing yoga for a year I noticed myself changing, mentally, physically, and emotionally. I loved the person I was becoming. I was happy, I had purpose, and the body that came with it wasn't all that bad! I loved myself for the first time ever in my life. I decided you know what? I want to help people. So I got myself certified as a yoga teacher. I want them to feel the same happiness and love I have for myself. I want people to be able to get up every day with a smile on their face, I want people to find their purpose in this beautiful crazy life. I am on Facebook (Jess Nicole Sottile) and Instagram (Jesssienicolee)
I enjoy helping people first and foremost, but I also love enlightening people about yoga and all the benefits. It's not just about flexibility, it's about feeling good about yourself and everything you do in life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know the student first. Such as hobbies, goals and medical background. I like to make my classes fun but I also want my students to get their money's worth. I like to do one on one classes because I feel it gives the student a chance to fall in love with yoga. Sometimes we forget not everyone heals the same. I also make myself available as best I can so I like to know their schedule and if we can't figure something out. I am always available through skype or can pre record my lessons. My client is my number one priority. Life can sometimes be crazy and we just gotta learn to be flexible!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified wellness/life coach. A certified yoga teacher 2 years now. Self taught for 2 years as well!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I give discounts for veterans/soldiers, first responders and police officer and firefighters and anyone who suffers with suicidal thoughts or addiction.
How did you get started teaching?
I actually started teaching because I had hit a low point in my life where I wanted to give up on myself. I had lost hope of finding a light at the end of the tunnel. Yoga was my light. I now want to help people find that light. Everybody needs a helping hand and I want to be that helping hand to others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I teach fitness, flexibility, cancer patients, depression/anxiety, high/low blood pressure, weight loss, booty building, ADHD in children, pain management, bodybuilding, pregnancy, self love, addiction, suicide, PTSD, and just a overall wellness.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have worked with vets, soldiers, police officers, and firefighters for PTSD. There is no greater feeling giving back to those who help you. Doesn't seem like they get enough recognition for the job they do.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure any yoga teacher checks your medical history. That's how you know they care about your well being and goals. Sometimes yoga can deepen a problem if not treated correctly based on clients needs.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should figure out what they want from yoga and from there ask their teacher how to bask in the benefits of what yoga has to offer. It's not just about fitness it's about being one with yourself!
