As a varsity baseball coach, you always want to know who your pitchers are working with outside of your time. We never have to worry about Eric Minshall. Our pitchers, thrive while under his tutelage and he does a tremendous job communicating with me on what is happening with each and every one of my guys! Coaching 14 years in high school baseball, that is rare for a trainer to do!

Coach Minshall says no two pitchers are the same and that’s how he teaches. He uses specific drills for each individuals needs. There’s no cookie cutter coaching at Cincinnati Throwing Club

Great with communicating with my son and I. Great instruction on correcting throwing techniques cares very much about my sons welfare, main objective is for him to throw properly so he does not injure himself throwing. Eric cares deeply about their success and takes great care to make sure they are healthy.

Eric Minshall has been Aidan’s pitching coach for 3 years now. He is an experienced and knowledgeable pitching coach whose goal is to improve the athlete’s performance by intertwining mobility , strength with proper body mechanics . He has educated Aidan and told him that once these things all work together properly the velocity will take care of itself . He also gives Aidan pointers on how to handle the game mentally as well as physically. Aidan’s progress is proof. We highly recommend him as a pitching coach and we feel fortunate that our son has the opportunity to continue to work with him .

As a former pitcher and draft pick of the Kansas City Royals, I have to be honest and say I assumed I was more than capable of helping to my step-son prepare to become a better High School pitcher. I felt capable of helping him increase velocity and command. However, the way I learned to pitch was over 20 years ago and incorrect. After watching Eric and the staff at the Cincinnati Throwing Club I am in utterly shocked! The principals, fundamentals and techniques being taught are top-notch. There’s no doubt in my mind that if I had the opportunity to turn back the “hands of time” I would have more velocity and command. This is more than a pitching clinic. Your child will learn drills, techniques, and proper mechanics to throw harder, have more consistency and become a better pitcher. There are countless examples that I have learned from just watching Eric and his staff work with the kids that had made me a better pitching instructor. I highly recommend them and I cannot stress the importance of having the proper techniques being taught to your child. This is well worth the investment and I wish I had the opportunity to learn what I have 20 years earlier.

Provides great value with regard to arm health, mechanics, and strength training for the money. Professional/College experienced instructors/trainers are very knowledgeable and stay current with the latest science backed training methods supporting throwing and arm care. Improvement and results were readily noticeable after just a few sessions with short and long term goals discussed.

    Frequently asked questions

We have our new clients do a physical assessment first. This enables us to see how their body moves and if they have any restrictions in movement that are not allowing them to function fully.  We then do a slow motion video capture of their throwing mechanics to further identify any inefficiencies. Once we have completed and reviewed with our clients we come up with a plan to fix the issues and move the athlete forward.

I am a professional pitching coach who has studied bio mechanics, worked with the Drivleine methods, Texas Baseball Ranch teachings as well as total arm care techniques. I have coached baseball for over 25 years and have coached at every level.

We have monthly options. 1, 2 and 3x per week options as well  as private lessons

We work with students as young as 7 years older all the way up to major league players.

Instructors who sit on a bucket and tell you you did great when you throw strikes and give you negative feedback when you don't are not worth your time or money.   You need someone with a kinetics based background who truly knows what the next levels look like.
