Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We have our new clients do a physical assessment first. This enables us to see how their body moves and if they have any restrictions in movement that are not allowing them to function fully. We then do a slow motion video capture of their throwing mechanics to further identify any inefficiencies. Once we have completed and reviewed with our clients we come up with a plan to fix the issues and move the athlete forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional pitching coach who has studied bio mechanics, worked with the Drivleine methods, Texas Baseball Ranch teachings as well as total arm care techniques. I have coached baseball for over 25 years and have coached at every level.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We have monthly options. 1, 2 and 3x per week options as well as private lessons
All are available on our web site. www.ohiobsa.com
Please call or email for details.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with students as young as 7 years older all the way up to major league players.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Instructors who sit on a bucket and tell you you did great when you throw strikes and give you negative feedback when you don't are not worth your time or money. You need someone with a kinetics based background who truly knows what the next levels look like.
